As snow covers the community, a young girl rushes outside
and plays in all the expected ways--building a snowman, sledding, and making
snow angels.
This is a lovely board book about the joys of a snow day. The
text is written in simple rhyme and is the typical short length of a board
book. I really enjoyed this book for its easy-to-read cadence, fun topic and
especially the wonderful illustrations. I loved Oliphant's style! This is the
kind of book you will want to read to your own kids on a snowy day, and it
should be the perfect addition to any winter book collection.
